Receiving Your First Order
Enable ordering, set delivery zones, test
You have added products and set up your site. Now all that is left is to configure order processing and place a test order to make sure everything works.
Prerequisites
- Products have been added to the catalog (at least 1-2 items)
- Your site has been published via the site builder
Setting Up Delivery
If you plan to deliver orders, set up delivery zones. If you only offer pickup, you can skip this step.
1Open the Delivery Zones section
In the admin panel sidebar, go to Operations, then Delivery Zones (or "Localities" depending on your business type).
2Create a delivery zone
Specify the zone parameters:
- Name — for example, "City Center" or "South District"
- Delivery cost — a fixed amount in your currency
- Free delivery from — the minimum order amount for free delivery (optional)
3Or enable pickup only
If you do not deliver orders, simply do not create any delivery zones. Customers will be able to place pickup orders.
Test Order
Before going live, be sure to test how the ordering process works from a customer's perspective.
1Open your site
Navigate to your-subdomain.bazex.co in your browser. You will see your site exactly as visitors see it.
2Add a product to the cart
Find any product in the catalog and click the "Add to Cart" button. Open the cart and verify that the product appears there.
3Place the order
Fill in the checkout form: name, phone number, address (if delivery), and confirm the order. Choose a payment method — cash or SBP (if configured).
4Check the order in the admin panel
Go back to the admin panel. Open the Orders section — your test order should appear in the list with an audio notification.
Order Lifecycle
Every order goes through a sequence of statuses. You update the status manually as you process it:
- Pending (PENDING) — the order has just been placed
- Confirmed (CONFIRMED) — you have accepted the order
- Preparing (PREPARING) — the order is being assembled
- Ready (READY) — the order is packed and awaiting pickup or courier
- In Delivery (IN_DELIVERY) — the courier has picked up the order
- Delivered (DELIVERED) — the order has been handed to the customer
For pickup orders the chain is shorter: after the "Ready" status the customer picks up the order and you mark it as "Delivered".
